This year, 2012, marks the hundred-year anniversary of the death of the founder of the Salvation Army, William Booth. In 1912, the Army’s founder looked around him at the poverty and destruction, and promised to continue the fight for the good until the day he died. Presently, around the globe, the Salvation Army continues the same fight. The good fight. The fight for a better tomorrow for every human being who cannot manage on his/her own.
